Each month we are going to focus on really diving deep into one of our Select Features and Benefits. This month is TYMETRICS! Here are a few things to keep in mind while selling this amazing time-keeping system. Please comment at the bottom if you have any additional questions/techniques on how to sell it/success stories! Thank you Donna Boyson for all your help!
A few facts:
Minimum Weekly GM requirement to install a remote clock: $750
Minimum Weekly GM requirement to install a clock at an onsite account: varies account to account
Commonly Asked Questions:
What happens when a client with a Tymetrics clock lays off the majority of their employees and we are billing less than $750? If there is a possibility that they will ramp-up again then we may be able to keep the clock in place. If not, we will have to pull the clock and go back to paper time cards. This is on a client to client basis.
What is the best type of clock I should sell that we offer? The proximity card is the standard clock to sell - if you decide to sell the biometric hand reader please check with Donna Boyson in the CDS Department first. They are costly and high maintenance and we prefer to stay away from them unless the client specifically requests it
Can a client put both temps and their regular employees on the clock? We can absolutely do that and we encourage it because that locks in the client! You can charge them if you want depending on the ratio between our employees to the clients, but you don't have to.
What are the standard clients options as far as installing a clock? We can run our own phone lines or tap into the client's database. We also have a WiFi/Web option, but this is much more expensive than what we are currently using. Focus on NT 2000 - it is more inexpense and has high-end technology capabilities.
Where do I find information on Rodeo for Tymetrics?: Under the Sales Department, there is a PowerPoint presentation for Tymetrics that is very helpful and up-to-date. Susan Storms has built some awesome web training for Tymetrics under the Training and Development Department on Rodeo. We can also set up a web demo with Donna if you are interested.
Does the client have access to all of the Tymetrics information?: Some do and some don't - if they want it and they are technology-driven, try to go with the WiFi/Web option. If you go through NT 2000 system, we can e-mail them reports through our branch or through the onsite.
How many reports can we generate through Tymetrics? There are 104 reports to be exact. These are click and print reports. If the client wants something that isn't in there, Donna and the CDS team can create one.
Does a client still have to sign off on hours when they have a Tymetrics clock? Of course they do - if they are using our WiFi system they can do it electronically, if not we can print it out and send it to them.
How does our clock compare to our competitor's clocks they are offering? We are top-notch compared to competitors! We offer a workforce management solution - it is the difference between driving a car (competition) or a Lamborghini (Tymetrics). There are literally thousands of reports that we can customize and run for preformance and time and attendance. We have built amazing technolgoies.
How should I approach selling it: First ask lots of questions about exactly what they want. Once we know what they are looking for, we know what to sell. We have solutions to fit low-end to high-end.
Can we provide a file to the client? Clients like to look at their own data: Yes we can - we export data out of the system and e-mail it to the client.
The client is demanding that we use their own system, if they provide us a file, can you build a bridge to Tymetrics?: Absolutely! Then we won't have to manually do our own payroll! It saves us so much time.
How does the system work with badges?: We can create picture IDs through a badge printer right from your office that can be linked to their proximity card.
